WIRE FRAUD ALERT:
Any e-mail or writing appearing to be from the law firm of Kenneth B. Lerman, P. C. which requests a wire or other transfer of funds to any party, must be double verified. The request and any corresponding instructions must be confirmed personally via telephone with attorney Lerman before the initiation of any wire or other transfer. You must call this firm’s established telephone number, and verify you are speaking with only attorney Lerman. It is the responsibility of any person wiring funds to evaluate and verify that the recipient is the intended and lawful recipient. Hackers are targeting e-mails, websites, and other methods of communications of law firms and other businesses in attempts to instigate the initiation of fraudulent wire or other funds transfer requests. Wire instructions and any changes to wire instructions should be verified through multiple contact and verification means and steps. No responsibility is accepted by Kenneth B. Lerman, P.C. or its principal for any loss or damage arising in any way from funds transfers which are not preceded by personal contact and verification with attorney Lerman directly.
